What's with the blog?
Early sunday morning, I should have been studying and starting with my problem set, instead, here I am creating my first blog entry. Actually, this is not my first attempt to create my own blog. I have one hosted by Friendster and another by Multiply. The thought came suddenly, I was still not in the mood to do anything at all, well school work.
Last wednesday, my friends and I were reminiscing the past two years of our college life. Recalling the moments of how we met and eventually ended up staying with another. It was fun and great to remember the times of panic and sleepless nights during hell weeks wherein our sadist professors seemed to have agreed to schedule all deadlines on the same week. Well everything was hard, especially when you're not used to working almost 24 hours a day, studying for several hours straight and rest time would only be time to eat and when "nature calls." Semester after semester, we were eventually getting used to this routine. Besides, the failures one experiences along the way really serve as good lessons and reminders. It was very different from high school, where failing was not really a big deal. Now, everything is serious, unless you are extremely gifted with the intelligence and discipline, which gives you some extra time to slack off.
Despite the extreme seriousness we put to studying, of course, there are still times where we can't resist temptation. Hey.. everyone deserves a break or even some leisure time, especially after a week's hard work. :p It all started out with playing Ragnarok Online with Chap, Julius, Jeb and of course, my dearest Marvin. :) So, after several months of addiction, we got tired of it and then eventually shifted to playing warcraft, DoTa. DoTa times are a lot fun, one reason would be that a lot more people plays the game, and there's always something new. Each game would be different, very unpredictable; one cannot event predict the end of the game, simply because of the line-up of heroes. Quoting from someone, I wonder if it was Marc who said it, but the probability of winning a game cannot be easily determined. hahah :p or somehow like that...
Despite how hard and tiring it is to still continue my days in EEE, each day is rewarding, especially when there are people you know would never ever just leave you and people who are always present to lift you up when you think all is lost.
NOTE: (1) Thank you!!!! I need not mention your names.. you know who you are... :p
(2) What about our group blog?? I thought Amos was going to start it up? or someone else?
